How Meaningful

                             Each individual person once we reach the age of responsibility, must very well know
                             the importance of being well prepared.  We are born in two worlds, the physical and
                             spiritual or the seen and unseen worlds. The first is temporal & the later is eternal!

                            







            
                             Happy are the couple who have prepared well for their marriage.
                             Happy are the parents who have made enough preparations for their children.
                             Happy are the children who are obedient to established rules & guidelines.
                             Happy are the students who willingly and seriously study their lessons.
                             Happy are the teachers who are well prepared and knowledgeable in their subject.
                             Happy are the farmers who have well-cultivated their land and planted.
                             Happy are they who have insurances for when they die their family will not suffer.
                             Happy are those who takes daily exercises when joining a race or contests.


                             All of them see the value of preparations and applied them for their own
                             satisfaction.  Uncertainty though is the enemy of it all.  Marriage can collapse!
                             Houses can be washed out; Children will grow and follow their own paths;
                             people can get sick and caught some incurable illnesses; farmers may expect
                             but frustrated by some calamities, likewise insurance deals can turned bankrupt.
                             The worst consequence always come upon those who have not prepared and
                             has no idea how to overcome when something unexpected happen.  


                            Will they break you or challenge you?


                         








                                                                                                                        
                            We are not really preparing for the unexpected devastations. We have
                            set our minds to positive motivations.  Marriage will lasts; children will grow
                            educated, normal & well-balanced; farmers will get bountiful harvests and
                            investments will multiply!  This is faith, even though it is not seen but working
                            towards its realization takes a lot of believing...


                            What and who are you believing for right now that are necessary for your spiritual life?
                                             This life is eternal!


                            Blessed are those who have put their trust in God rather than on temporary 
                                              stuffs in this temporary world even the riches of this world .
                            Blessed are those who have prepared for their eternal abode which is Heaven.
                            To get there, the Bible teaches to have faith alone in Jesus Christ alone!
                            Blessed are the believers who are functioning from the source of their new man
                                                             for their eternal rewards will be many!
                            Blessed are those informed and who are waiting for the coming Head of the Church,
                                                             King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
                            Blessed are they whose lives and character are an impact to humankind, for
                            God sees them fit to participate in His program of resolving the spiritual battle
                                called the angelic conflict!, in the midst of adverse circumstances all around.

                            You may not be so blessed with a happy marriage, a diploma hanged on a wall;
                            a material legacy like land for your children; a great supply of food and money.
                            Even though things do not always work in your favor if you have understood
                            and put your saving faith in the Solid Rock, The Only Saviour & Lord Jesus
                            Christ; This is man's only real security! He has ensured our bright future with Him  
                            eternally. While waiting for Him to call us up or waiting for His coming in the clouds, 
                            let us study/eat His spiritual food, follow His instructions to live & walk by faith and
                            honestly do His will.  All of these are certain without any shadow of doubt.
                            God said it, He will perform it for the benefit of His dear people...Let us therefore
                            take care of our spiritual life because God will take care of both our spirit and body!
                             

Proverb 16:9     " A man's heart devises his course but The Lord directs his steps".

Mark 8:36,37   " For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or 

                                                         what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

1 Timothy 4:8   " For bodily exercise profits little; but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise

                                                     of the life that now is, and of that which is to come."

                               Be thankful that sunrises and sunsets are free,
                                    or else, we couldn't afford them.


                               Be thankful that behind every storm is the 
                                    rainbow of hope and sunshine bright.


                               Be thankful for failures because success is sweet.
                                    Life would be so boring without challenges.
                               
                               Be thankful for pressures and stress, so that
                                    we can be reminded to relax and enjoy life.


                               Have a one thousand and one reasons 
                                     to be thankful today!

The Excellence of Love

 It's Characteristics                   

                                                                     
                                                                      First Corinthians 13   

                                    

                                

                                If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love,                                                                                                              

                                          I am become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

                                If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and knowledge;

                                and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love,

                                                                           I am nothing.                                                                                           

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;love does not brag and is not arrogant,Does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take a record of a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;Bears all thing, believes all things, hopes all things,endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they      will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.                 


For we know in part and we prophesy in part;But when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child;when I became a man, I did away with childish things.For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I have also have been fully known.But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

How?

MUST WANT IT                                             
                                                                                
                     Yes, for any grown person to receive help, he needs 
                      to feel the need for help and to choose to be helped
                      for his own transformation and success!


                      Do you want to be triumphant over emotional &
                      personal problems? Choose to learn to be open to 
                      your trustworthy friend of same sex who has 
                      stability in character and emotion.  A friend who 
                      has a sincere desire to see you get over your 
                      problems and live a happy & productive life.             
                      Or you may choose to go to a professional      
                      counselor. You can even opt to get help by your 
                      own decision with God. Pray to Him and ask for  
                                                   His divine solution!

                       God came to seek and to save that which was
                       lost.  He died on that cross! This is His supply 
                       even before any man ask for His aid. However, 
                       unless we recognize that we are lost in Adam's             
                       sin and need a personal Saviour, He won't save.
                       God Is The Father of all creation but every 
                       person who wants a personal relationship needs
                       to see, feel and understand in his mind & 
                       heart that he needs eternal salvation for his eternal 
                                      soul. This needs a personal choice.

                      The only Gospel is: God Jesus Christ came
                      from heaven to earth, became flesh, was 
                      crucified for every human sin, was buried
                      and rose again.  This needs a choice to be
                      personally believed and understood. This is
                      a once in a lifetime! This is God's only solution
                      for spiritual alienation.  


                      The only Saviour is Jesus Christ, a sinless human-
                      God who paid all the sin debt of all men so that 
                      anyone who accepts Him, He saved that person 
                      eternally from separation with God, from hell and 
                      from Satan.


                      Faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel is just the 
                      beginning of spiritual life.  In order to grow
                      the soul, it needs a day by day choice, to eat
                      or study the word of God properly.  While our
                      physical birth is beyond our choice, our second
                      birth into our spiritual family,  eternal & 
                      permanent is entered into by faith alone, which is   
                      by choice to believe the Gospel.  Spiritual food 
                      needs to be balanced and right in order to grow 
                      spiritually healthy as physical foods need to be 
                      so and nutritious in order to grow the body.   It 
                      needs a daily choice even a moment by moment  
                      choice to believe & apply what is being understood.

                                                    
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes..."
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 .."make known to you the Gospel by which you received and are saved. That Christ died for our
                           sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried and was raised on the third day..."
Jeremiah 10:21 "For the shepherds have become stupid and have not sought the Lord; therefore they have not prospered,
                                                                                 and all their flock is scattered." (Israel in OT time).
Matthew 4:4 "Man shall not live by bread for the body alone, but by every word of God for his soul."
2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to ashamed, rightly dividing the word
                                                                                                                  of truth."

Crippling Fear                                                       


                                      Fear is both healthy and unhealthy.  Crippling fear is dismal.
                                    
                                      Healthy fear expresses reverence, respect  and  obedience  to 
                                      standard rules and practical application. Acquiring knowledge
                                      with  its  intended benefits to one self,  being  careful  and
                                      following directions are what it does. Freedom within is enjoyed
                                      without suspicions, doubts, worries and all forms of anxieties.

                                      Crippling fear can manifest in many different ways, like:

                                                                                             

                                      > phobia of different sorts
                                      > excuse to slackness and rebellion to some people
                                      > lack of knowledge about the matter being afraid of.
                                      > maybe out of an experience from the past.
                                      > maybe because of the environment that raised him/her 
                                                         up using persuasion by means of fear
                                       > some become very aloof, distant and secluded especially
                                          those fearing for their health and well being.
                                       > uncontrolled imaginations, presumptions & anxieties
                                       > there are many, many more...

                                          The common fears are:
                                         
                                           > the fear of the unknown, fear of death, of darkness, of 
                                            being alone, fear of hunger, calamity and destruction, 
                                                                    and so forth and so on...                


                                         The solution is always fundamental and available:


                                         Jesus Christ is just waiting to be known in the Gospel
                                         and in the Bible. Death is sure to come, so make sure of
                                         your eternal destiny. Faith alone in Christ alone gives
                                         assurance of abode in heaven.  God made the darkness                    
                                         just like He created the light. God Holy Spirit lives inside                     
                                         of the believers soul, there is no time that Trinity God is 
                                         not present. Other fears need to be conquered by studies 
                                         and knowing the specific subject because ignorance play            
                                         a major role in having many fears.  Let us get this up into 
                                         our mind. The yardstick for any belief is the word of God.
                                         
                                         For besetting fears that continually grip a person, you
                                         may need a counselor, a person you trust or a Christian
                                         psychologist and therapist to help you overcome and be               
                                         set free or not be controlled by it.  The help is still a process,
                                         some overcame fast, some slowly and some needs a day by 
                                                        day emotional support and stability.

                                                                                            
                                 2 Timothy 1:7  "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a
                                                                                                        sound mind." 
                                                


       :there are a lot of studies, just google the subject about fear, anxiety, phobia but 
       changing the way the mind thinks by believing and appropriating God's word is the      
                    most effective method to be released from unproductive fear...likewise 
                                                                  growing mature.

UGLY ANGER


                                  is a simple annoyance or an emotional rage present in every humankind.


                                > It destroys health, stability of mind & relationships of the enraged person.
                                > It stops the thinking process and leads to acts that are regretful in the end.
                                > It gives unnecessary stress and pressures to the person and people around
                                > It makes the person unreasonable, restless and sleepless.
                                > It gives the person wild, false and evil imaginations.
                                > It gives heaviness to the heart and pouting; erasing all the bright smiles.
                                > some become violent, suicidal and vindictive.

                                 Causes might be:


                                 > a discouragement or frustrations of self or from other source
                                 > did not get what he/she wanted most.
                                 > a way to communicate thus will finally be allowed of his/her desire.
                                 > an illness, feeling of pain and hurts, pms and ms for women
                                 > impatience, hatred or  just a dislike to others
                                 > unresolved problems, mistreatment, prejudice and self-pity
                                 > miscommunication, misunderstanding or had an ear on gossips
                                 > had became a habit or being enraged without any reason

                                                                                                                             
                                 These lists of causes and resulting effects can go on and on and on...


                                  The Righteous Indignation


                                   is an anger to the sinful act with a motive to restore the offender and
                                                                              not be destroyed by it.


                                   example: dealing with a person who has the habit of telling lies.
                                                    Your indignation is directed to his/her lies. You have
                                                    forgiven the person but his/her accountability is to earn
                                                    the lost trust by determining to be truthful again.


                                   Even during anger, let us all be objective to the sin or mistakes we are 
                                      angry at, always thinking of the subject's well being and restoration....
                                  


                                  Jesus Christ Himself was angry and cannot fellowship with sin!

Friend of Friends

FRIENDSHIP                                   
                                   > Is Kindred in spirit

                                   > are emotions & attachment that grow in time    

                                        as both know each other intellectually

                                                                

The choice of a friend is very crucial to every individual being. Character is of utmost necessity.

                                     > some of us just want acceptance...

                                         people don't want to be told what's wrong

                                         and how bad the attitude is or his association 

                                    

                                     > some of us just want belongingness.

                                         nevermind the kind of trade or work

                                         where they engaged in,  even if it's

                                         not right.

                                      > some love to hear praise,

                                          recognition, flattery and only those

                                          that the ears want to hear.

                                      > some of us just want some 'shock

                                         absorber and trouble shooters'. People

                                         are remembered as friends if there are

                                         problems or want to ask some favors 

                                         like debts, borrow stuffs etc.

                                     >  but some are truly persuaded

                                         that corrections, rebukes and loving favor

                                         are ingredients in friendship.  Each desire the

                                         best life and right attitude for his/her friend.

                                                              

                         Intimacy  is developed if masks are removed and honesty

                         defines the friendship.  Material possession is not an element

                         in real friendship.  Things in common or being in 'one ship"

                         make friends stronger. Togetherness, communication,

                         understanding, respect, helpfulness, and correct motive

                         make a happier  and true lasting friendship.

               The Lord Himself spoke and taught about choosing our friends and companions.

                   Proverb 13:20 "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion 

                                                              of fools will suffer harm.

                   Proverb 17:17 "A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity."

                   Proverb 27:6a "Faithful are the wounds of a friend..."

                   James 4:4 "Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward 

                                                                                 God?

                  Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of

                                                  God. (world here is the sinful system)

                  Jesus Christ is the Real Friend Who knows exactly what we need.  We can tell

                  Him all our mind and can pour our feelings anytime.  We can be truly His friend

                                      if we keep His commandments.  He Is The Friend of friends!


I heartily dedicate this blog to my young friends Diana and Medeleine who are celebrating their birthday today.  Their friendship is truly a blessing to me.  I pray to God that she will be a good architect and she becomes a good
